A: Flexibus is the community transport programme service for the county of Meath and beyond. It was established by an appointed committee (Meath Accessible Transport) under the Rural Transport Programme (RTP)

A: Regular services

All routes have set fares.
Free travel pass holders: Can use their pass on these services and do not have to pay.
Children and students: Cost is half that of the adult fare.
Adults: Depending on the service, the prices vary but are all very reasonable.

Chartered Services

On chartered services or once off trips, there is a nominal charge for everybody, including F.T.P. holders. Prices for chartered trips are available on request. If you wish to hire any of buses, drivers or passenger assistants please contact the office for prices.

Q: How do I book Flexibus?

A: To secure a seat on Flexibus, you must ring the office or the bus to book your seat. You can ring:

Q: How many vehicles do you have?

A: At present Flexibus have 19 buses on the road. They range from 8 seaters up to 18 seater buses. Flexibus also use private operators throughout the county to broaden the amount of services they can use.


Q: Can anyone use your service?

A: Yes, the service is open for everybody to use.


Q: Do you have wheelchair access onto the busses?

A: Yes, all our buses are accessible and our drivers and passenger assistants are all fully trained.


Q: Can you pick me up and drop me off outside my house?

A: Yes: all our timetabled services offer a door to door service.. If you would liked to be picked u outside your house please phone the office to book your seat so we know where to pick you up from.


Q: How do I book a seat?

A: The seats must be booked through the office, before 4.30pm the evening prior to travelling.


Q: Can I reserve a seat on the bus every week for a period of time?

A: Yes, It is possible to block book a seat if travelling every week. To book this we advise you to book through the office so we know exactly when you are travelling. If unable to travel one week when you are blocked booked it is vitally important that you phone the office the day prior to travelling to make us aware.


Q: Do you accept free travel passes?

A: Yes, we accept all free travel passes.
